Joujou & Shugi Feature in Kosmo! Tabloid Newspaper

Our fellow toy traders were featured in Kosmo! newspaper released on 13th April 2009. It was certainly a great experience for them to be able to speak about their favourite hobbies. Thanks to Johanna for the cool write-up.

We leave you with Otam's Pulau Perhentian. One of my favourites! So, here's a short clip of him performing 'live' at Groove Junction.

Last Night, Tonight, Tomorrow...

It's been a long hard day but just by listening to this beautiful melody makes everything worthwhile. Hope it will give you a peaceful mind too when you get your sleep tonight. I couldn't find the embedded video file but you can always listen to it from YouTube.

Here's Last Night by Wang Lee Hom.

Good night!

J+S heart BFM 89.9!

Ms Shefah, a friendly journalist from BFM radio station surprised us with her casual visit on the 4th of April 2009.

Shefah @ work. With her is Nic from E-Toyz.

BFM?
If you guys and girls haven't heard about BFM, it's time you should. BFM is a 24 hour radio station focused on business news and topics. On their official website - www.bfm.my - the new local radio station's core programmes include the latests biz news and numbers from the stock market. It's like CNBC or The Edge but on radio. Wait~~think it's boring? But we're gonna go on air one of these days and we want you to catch it!

On a regular basis, there are radio interviews with business personalities, financial analysts, entrepreneurs, technologists and marketers. I've personally listened to some of the talks - not sure if they were 'live' or pre-recorded - but they are nicely delivered on air nevertheless. Want to know more about starting up a business or maintaining one? BFM talks about marketing, finance, technology and business productivity with an aim to raise the business proficiency of the Malaysian public.

If you're a business executive, a finance professional or an investor, there's no reason why shouldn't pick this frequency up. It's money in your pocket, folks! :)

Hey, let's also welcome the new traders into the J+S family...

Bedazzled @ The Weld this Sat, 11.04.09!

Comfy bean bags by Doof Industries

Of all the Saturdays we'd done previously, I think this coming Saturday is by chance, the best themed ever. On this 11th April 2009, we have a good mix of craft traders and toy sellers. Scroll down...

One of the many stamps and coins collection for sale at the toy art mart

Expect to be bedazzled by strings and strings of pretty handmade jewelleries from
Beads Garden Fashion, beautiful gems and crytals by Beaddazzles, Sareen's jewelleries and Rumita Kaur's authentic oh-so-Balinese shawls. I know...that's a mouthful!

Antique collection from Close Crafty

We've done this for a month now and we can't find another excuse why we shouldn't continue the toy art mart at The Weld. The tourists just love it! We may be small in number but if you see clearly, each and every trader at Joujou & Shugi Toy Art Mart is a gem themselves and they offer a wide variety of rare items from tin toys, foil graphics, design books to plush dolls, model kits and fashion accessories. Some even had been spotted by the media and went on a feature in the national papers (awesome!) for the talents they possess.

In luv with...dolls made from new socks

Curious? You should be. So, come over!

Whereabout?
