If heels are for girls, then toys are for boys?

For many people, collecting things is habitual. Collecting things like keychains, collection cards, hello kitties, disney merchandise, origami, comics, shoes, bags, etc. You go somewhere, see something nice, pick and pay for it. For some, it is a seasonal hobby which only gets better when travelling. But for others, it's guilt if you don't own the entire Gundam series. After all, the Gen Y generation and Echo Boomers have had one of the most unforgettable TV times with cartoon shows like The Simpsons, Tom & Jerry, Star Wars and Transformers being the most popular. Transformers the Movie had us all kinda star-struck.

Isn't it time we have one of our own? Not making a film, of course, but a toy-centric bazaar sounds as good. With just a little effort on your part, you can help us get one step closer to our dream goal. Speaking of which, we're teaming up with fellow toy collectors and craftmakers to bring a TOY-CENTRIC art mart to KLites!

Joujou & Shugi? The names mean 'toys' in French and 'craft' in Japanese. Don't be surprised to find yourself with some 70s vinyl records, highly-collectible interior desk lamps or wooden art collectibles at the art mart.
Value first, money second. Collecting stuff is really fun. You may find pretty good stuff about which you're interested in collecting. If that's the case, head on to Joujou & Shugi Toy Art Mart, every Saturday from 10am to 6pm at The Weld!

Some 'highly collectible' stuff on sale on the opening of Joujou & Shugi Toy Art Mart, 7th March 2009:-

1) G.O.D. Red ANT Lamp (NEW)

2) Disney Couple Lamp with push-on button (NEW)

3) Miss Hua 3-in-1 artpiece (with artist's autograph)

4) The four Skyscrapers & the Illuminated DIY Card Tower (NEW)

How about getting one of these as a gift to a friend? Souvenir? Or as add-on to your growing collection? Well, you decide!

(Price of items negotiable)
